Inition / Thinglab Launch New Website

Inition / Thinglab is a department of Inition Pty Ltd dedicated to design technologies including, 3D printing, 3D scanning, 3D modelling and service work. The new website is designed to make finding information on 3D scanners, 3D printers and design tools more accessible. We are also now able to sell some of our products directly from our new web shop, saving the end consumer time and money.

The website is a work in progress and expanding all the time. We are looking to integrate more information about the products and services we provide especially those based around 3D printing and scanning.

The interesting thing about 3D technologies is the growing number of applications as different industries discover the potential. The aim for the future of the website is to help people understand how these design technologies can be used together and with other tools to bring new workflows. For example utilising 3D face scanning technologies along with modelling tools such as Claytools to create characters for animation. Or using Freeform Modellingto design an organic product which would be difficult or impossible to design using other methods and using a 3D printer to rapid prototype a physical model to check ergonomics.
