Inition Thinglab

DISCONTINUED - The Artec M has been superseded by the Artec Eva Lite.

INITION Thinglab says...

"The Artec M is a robust industrial version of the MH white light 3D scanner. White light scanning technology allows scans to be taken very quickly and accurately so is great for capturing high resolution data in a short time frame. The M can be tripod mounted or hand-held making it perfect for capturing car parts and other medium sized industrial objects quickly and effectively. It is fast, simple and intuitive to use thanks to its point and click operation and user friendly software."

The Artec M scanner can be used on a huge range of objects from engineering components, Art pieces, historical items, human faces and even full body scans. Multiple scanners can be linked together to give faster, accurate scans of larger objects. The Artec Studio 8.0 3D scanning software which comes included with the MH 3D scanners not only allows you to scan objects but also gives you the post processing tools you need to create a watertight mesh.

Manufacturer's Description

Artec M™ 3D Scanner has a medium field and depth of view. It is similar to the MH model, but comes in a metal casing and has a more industrial look. It is light weight so it can be walked around the object, but it can also be placed on a tripod. This model should be used to scan medium-sized objects such as a computer keyboard, a human leg, or a hubcap.

Artec M™ 3D Scanner is perfectly suited to be used in reverse engineering, such as scanning parts to be milled on a CNC machine. With a sturdy casing, accuracy of up to 0.1mm and 0.5mm resolution it is also the right solution for a design studio, medicine, and quality control.
